Inspired by the likes of Tempest, Geometry Wars and Just Shapes & Beats, this modern shmup aims to strip back the complex, busy art style of classic shoot-em-ups. The minimalistic art style makes enemy bullet patterns much clearer and easier to focus on, if not easier to actually dodge 😉

Designed with inclusivity at its core, Polyfury can be played with a single joystick, making it possible for those with limited mobility to fully enjoy the experience. It includes laser autofire, eliminating the need for precise timing - so everyone can unleash powerful attacks and emerge victorious.

Inclusivity also extends to visual impairments. Polyfury proudly offers a high contrast and colorblind-friendly visual style by default, with options to tweak the style - e.g. disabling effects, lowering the contrast, or changing the saturation levels.
